Mostar is a sprawling exploration into the everyday sights, sounds, people and the dreams of a Bosnian-Herzegovinian city that in its recent history has experienced the rise and fall of Yugoslavia, a three-pronged civil war, and the sociopolitical and economic uncertainties that have followed it.
Through the film we intimately get to know everyday Mostarians from different walks of life, learn the city’s past and present through individual stories, and on an experiential level get to know the “jewel of Herzegovina”, a beautiful city of rivers, covered on all sides by mountains.
